Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on implementing IPE in the community: students' perceptions

Background: Inter-professional Education (IPE) has been implemented widely in the community, especially developing countries. During COVID-19 pandemic, IPE implementation shifted by necessity to online learning. Therefore, we must evaluate with students as resource persons. Methods: The design of this study was observational a cross-sectional approach. Study subjects were third-year medicine, nursing, and nutrition who completed using methods students' families community representatives. An Interdisciplinary Perception Scale (IEPS) questionnaire measured perceptions. In addition, added open-ended questions identify perceptions programme. Results: Three hundred twenty-one (321) out 470 returned (68.3% response rate). Most agreed that learning objectives could be attained, there no significant difference those according sex, GPA, answer revealed programme still usefulness practising teamwork, communication, understanding professional's role. However, several obstacles identified, such signalling trouble, limitations on discussion, variation interventions. Conclusions: Despite limitation representatives, it is relevant positively perceived minimal obstacles.
